The Multi-V from Salmson is a vertical multi-stage pump, which is mainly used for pumping non-loaded clear liquids for agricultural, housing and industrial purposes. The unit has a 304 range of a clear and non-aggressive liquid such as water with glycol or drinking water. Sea water, demineralized water, and chlorinated water are considered aggressive liquids, which is the main specialization of the pump that has a capacity of 316L.

The unit is composed of a stainless steel hydraulic which prevents the tool from corrosion which allows the unit to have a long-lasting life span. The tungsten carbide intermediate bearing control eliminates vibration and helps stabilize the rotor with increased number of stages. Its optimal reliability has a high efficiency impeller profile that limits the number of stages, sizes of the shafts, and axial thrusts.
